Primus First Christmas In Dorridge
It was with great delight that we were able to join the village of Dorridge to help the local shops/businesses to organise an event leading up to the Christmas Tree Lights in Dorridge being switched on by Father Christmas. What a fabulous event and huge turnout for this event. It was great to see so much community spirit and support and shows the local community is as strong as ever.
During the evening there was 100 strong choir, various food stalls and street kitchens, drink stalls offering mulled wine and mince pies with Father Christmas appearing to join in the festive spirit.
Ian Bell, worldwide cricketing superstar supported the event and helped with the countdown to the lights being switched on. The atmosphere was amazing and around 2,000 people attended the event. Here at Primus we laid on wine and mince pies, plus ice-cream, which even on a very cold night was a huge hit! Primus ran a family raffle with one lucky local resident winning a luxury hamper which no doubt will help with the Christmas celebrations. All of us at Primus were proud to be involved with the event and support this evening with all the other shops and owners in the area.
